As we embark on closing weekend for Anthony Gallery (@galleryanthony)'s last show at the Stony Island Arts Bank, we are deeply grateful for the energy, ambition and community that our first gallery residency brought to the Greater Grand Crossing community. From exhibitions by emerging artists, such as Adeshola Makinde and Jewel Ham, to presentations of work by globally renowned talent, such as Tom Sachs and Tony Lewis, we were proud to collaborate with Anthony Gallery to amplify Chicago's rich creative talent and continue to establish the South Side as a premiere cultural destination. As 'Come As You Are' comes to a close, we hope you will join us in celebrating Anthony Gallery's time at the Arts Bank by visiting the show this weekend. 'Come As You Are,' a group exhibition curated by Isimeme “Easy” Otabor, founder of Anthony Gallery, features work by a cohort of established contemporary artists including Nina Chanel Abney, Roby Dwi Antono, Mario Ayala, George Condo, Sharif Farrag, Sayre Gomez, Alfonso Gonzalez Jr., Chase Hall, Lauren Halsey, February James, Rashid Johnson, KAWS, Barbara Kruger, Friedrich Kunath, Tony Lewis, Tony Matelli, Robert Nava, Sterling Ruby, Tom Sachs, Robin F. Williams and Jonas Wood. 'Come As You Are' will be on view at the Stony Island Arts Bank until December 11, 2022. The Arts Bank is open from Thursday to Sunday during the hours of 12 PM - 6 PM.
