✨DINING AT THE MOST EXPENSIVE RESTAURANT IN LA✨ Somni, along with Providence, became the first ever restaurant in Los Angeles to receive three Michelin stars this year, and here’s what it’s like to eat there. Prices start at $645/person pre-tax and tip for their 20+ course tasting menu plus a non-alcoholic beverage pairing, though I got the next tier up which is the same menu with a mixed pairing (half wine, half non-alcoholic) for $685. The experience was truly special. Though some courses definitely stood above the others — like the Ama Ebi, Tuna & Spruce Tip, and Shiso Tartar Tempura — everything was elevated with tableside presentations and warm hospitality. Was it worth it? Honestly, it’s hard to say at a price point this high. But if you’re looking for a special occasion meal with some of the best food and service this city has to offer, this is a great option.
