A beautiful loop ride at the Brown canyon Ranch in Sierra Vista today. A 5 mile loop with a variety of terrain, mtns, oak trees. A 2+ hour walking trail ride starting at the actual ranch headquarters parking lot. A couple technical boulder climbs however a treat to have a fresh water tank at the halfway point. A very warm February day. CAUTION: this trail is very popular for fast downhill mountain bikers. We had two close calls, and finally got off and walked the last mile. The mtn bikers were not happy with our horses on their trails 🤪 even though it’s an all user trail. As pretty as it was, I would not choose to horseback this loop. Always an adventure !
