Couple of my snaps of @geonate88 and dishes from a recent @burdell_oak pop-up Colin and I worked on together. The first portrait outside was taken in a harried 2 minutes he was able to run outside during service — thanks for letting me tear you away for a sec for that golden hour glow. Shooting in the middle of service is always both stressful and exhilarating — I generally feel a bit in the way even though I’ve been asked to be there, but it’s always rewarding to be able to capture the energy during an event. Geoff’s food is great, the pop-ups are hella fun (not surprising since he throws truly great dinner parties) and I’m so excited for all he has in store for Oakland.
