FOOTSTEPS’ INITIATION OF PHASE-2 OF THE EMERGENCY FLOOD RESPONSE FOR SUNAMGANJ Footsteps has started Phase 2 of the emergency flood response program through community rehabilitating and livelihood restoring initiatives as soon as the flood situation in the Sunamganj district improved. So far, we have distributed 10 fishing boats to the most vulnerable people who have lost their sources of income and house rebuilding support to 5 households that were damaged during the flood in Tahirpur Upazila, Sunamganj. Our Changemakers were able to work tirelessly to find possible rehabilitation and mitigation solutions for the communities in flood-prone areas in Bangladesh to make them resilient to future natural disasters, thanks to 7 Streams (the charity wing of @Zxy International ) for supporting us generously throughout the entire operation.
