Infrastructure collapse is not an accident. It’s a choice. America is founded in colonialism and until we name and own that as a national violence, we will continue to see migrants abused, cities without water and Puerto Rican neighbors waking without power or water. It’s not a fluke that these infrastructures fail in Black, brown and poor communities... the land of abundance isn’t for us. Cutting corners on infrastructure is a direct result of racist greed. It’s time for that to end.
