I got the incredible opportunity to attend The Mighty Dream Forum in partnership with @UPS in Norfolk, VA! This forum was created by the goat himself, Pharrell, as a way to promote and support small minority owned businesses. As a small business owner myself it was dope to see leaders of color come together to uplift one another and start conversations that will lead to impact and growth within our community. I felt so honored and inspired being in a room filled with change makers and I can’t wait to start applying all that I’ve learned. The 3 day event was is filled with insightful discussions from the industry’s top professionals. A pitching competition where small businesses got the opportunity to “pull up and pitch” their ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to win $20,000. And a block party celebrating and amplifying the amazing small businesses Norfolk has to offer. I love that UPS is supporting initiatives that are needed to turn mighty dreams into a reality!
