Narcissister, Untitled Head Series (Blue Eye), 2022 These sculptural heads, created during a residency at Shandaken/Storm King Summer 2022, attempt to contradict prevalent societal notions that a smooth face is a more beautiful face. Assembling cut up latex masks and various wigs collected from my performance practice, l create faces full of lines, crevasses, pits, and rolls and make a proposal that all this "information" could be embraced as beautiful if we allowed it. @shandakenprojects
