My dear friends over @cognacusa reached out to me earlier this summer to capture some content and also make a few Evergreen cocktails. This was a super fun 🥃 to create because in my head wasn’t sure if it would hit the notes I wanted : In theory, it’s a play on a Old Fashioned. I lowered the Cognac to 1.75 but works very well with a full 2 oz of Cognac. Drinks slightly tropical and medicinal, from the mint, but balanced ... one of those cocktails you keep picking up especially as it slowly dilutes. Minted 1.75 oz Cognac 1/4 oz @tempus_fugit_spirits 🍌 Liqueur 1/4 oz @tempus_fugit_spirits Creme de Menthe @scrappysbitters Chocolate Bitters Saline Mint leaves For the 📸: • First shot on my 85mm at 1.8 /125 . Used the shadows of my plant on the reflection of my coffee table. Noticed the record in the back and wasn’t sure about that pop of color. Can you name the album? • Second shot : brought in the decanter of Coganc and stepped a few feet back. 85mm 2.5 (full fuller focus)/ 125 iso.
