Okay, it’s officially time to come back from my sabbatical and it’s been a little hard to get back into the groove of showing up online. ⠀ I realize that I’ve grown a lot in the last few years and my audience has grown too! Let’s reintroduce ourselves... ⠀ ⭐️ I’m Mecca (pronounced like the city), a photographer who focuses on all things personal branding, but I’m learning not to box myself in creatively or professionally. ⠀ 🌆 I can’t believe I’ve lived in Atlanta for almost 9 years already, but I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. ⠀ 📸 I started my photography business in my childhood bedroom when I had trouble finding a job after I graduated from college in 2011. My only goal at the time was to be able to pay my student loans. ⠀ 📚I love to read, learn new things and be around passionate people. ⠀ ❤️ I’m learning how to have more fun, be a better listener and I desire to be more intentional in my relationships. ⠀ 📓 I’ve wanted to be a writer every since the first time I saw “Harriet the Spy” with Michelle Tractenberg. ⠀ 🧘🏾‍♀️ I just completed a 30-day yoga challenge, now I can’t imagine my daily routine without it. ⠀ 🥤 I’ve traded my morning coffees for fruit & veggie smoothies. ⠀ 🙏🏾 My current daily prayer is, “God use me.” ⠀ I would love to learn more about you.
