How can you transform a dated bathroom without a full on renovation? The answer, as always, is paint. My master plan for Londo Lodge involves blowing out the wall between my primary bath and the adjacent closet to double the size of the bathroom and give it an exterior window (I hate a windowless bathroom). I won’t be able to do that for quite some time so I wanted a little update that would help make the indigo tiles look a little less floral eighties. I actually love the color of these tiles but the whole 80s square tile thing wasn’t really meshing with what’s going on in the rest of the house. This corner shower is truly terrible and I will cackle so hard when I finally get to rip it out to replace it with a shower I can bend over and turn around in without bonking my head on that stupid built in soap dish (not that that happens every single day). Updates in the room include a fancy new @kohler toilet, a new flush mount from @hudsonvalleylighting and a new mirror/vanity lighting situation. But the wall color is the real big change - it’s Goodnight Moon by @clarepaint and I love how sophisticated and moody it is. The room isn’t exactly what I want but it’s a vast improvement to what was here when I moved in. Swipe for the “before” pic. Saturdays are for freshness! Goodbye!
