It’s been a month filled with so much that I am just getting to the player of the month for June. This June born champ just turned 4 and is clearly loving this game after only one month of weekly lessons. In this video, you will see two very important mindsets that he uses to hit a great, well timed two-handed backhand and forehand. These tools are key for all of us, especially us BIG kids a.k.a. ADULTS, lol! Using these two mindsets both on and off the court can leave us all feeling empowered, excited, and with a sense of purpose no matter what the task is. 🎾The first mindset he embraces is enthusiasm! You can see it in his “bounce bounce” to his grunt as he turns into his contact on the backhand. Enthusiasm is infectious and inspiring! Whether you’re hitting backhands or in the board room, you can literally inspire others around you with everything you do! 🎾The second mindset he practices is presence. His focus can be seen clearly in his ability to keep his eyes on the ball as it hits the ground and follow it as it rises up into his contact point. Imagine if we took on everything in our lives with a great sense of enthusiasm and presence! Whether it be dealing with something at work or something as simple as taking out the trash. When your attitude shifts from “I HAVE to take out the trash to “I GET to take out the trash” one can get present to the fact that they can walk, and find gratitude that they have strength to lift and move the trash. Being present and living life with a mindset of enthusiasm gives us all access to a sense of joy and purpose and leaves us in the ultimate space of fulfillment!
