There is power in our visibility! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 I’m currently in Milan attending the 38th annual @iglta convention. This convention has brought together 550+ individuals from more than 40 different countries - all united in the goal of making travel more inclusive for all LGBTQ+ travelers. Inclusivity and viability for plus size and queer travelers is a cornerstone of my platform. Yesterday when a bunch of us lesbian and queer women (+ honorary lesbro @raviroundtheworld) met up at the Duomo, other LGBTQ+ folks saw us with our flags and wanted to take pictures with us. One woman tearfully thanked us for being there. You know those moments where you are reminded why you do what you, this was one of those moments for more. The community of fellow LGBTQ+ influencers is like a family and since we are spread out all over the world, we don’t always have the opportunity to be in community together.
