It's been a rough 8 weeks in the life of the Nazari's and I feel it's time I came out and talked about the experience we have been going through because I believe if I can talk about this, maybe someone out there like me who had no knowledge about strokes and the effect it has on the caregivers and family, can possibly feel a little better. Approximately 8 weeks ago Behrouz had a brain stroke caused by high blood pressure while he was in Santa Barbara, CA. A week leading up to the stroke, Behrouz was not feeling well. He told me was super tired and his face was bloated and overall something was off... I've learned that high blood pressure is caused by many things and it's called the silent killer. It creeps up on you and in most cases, victims are not lucky enough to survive the effects, especially when you have a stroke. My husband was one of the lucky ones. Read more below
