MY EATING HABITS: 📌PRE WORKOUT MEAL: I love working out on an empty stomach. I have more energy when doing so! I just take #TrimV and my tea and head out to my outside workout! I know thats not the case for everyone. When I would go to the gym before a good leg day workout, I found it was good to eat simple carbohydrates, because they are digested fast and provide quick energy. It's even better to eat than not to eat in order to burn more during your weight lifting session. Things you could eat: half a sweet potato, a healthy granola bar, raw oatmeal(not the sugary microwave ones), Greek yogurt, a rice cake with peanut butter. Before leg day I would usually have the sweet potato after taking my #TrimV. 📌POST WORKOUT MEAL If your main goal is to build and grow muscle, try to eat at least 30 grams of protein and 30 to 35 grams of carbs within about 15 minutes after your workout. . . During a workout, your body breaks down muscle glycogen as well as muscle protein structures. Therefore, following exercise, your body needs to replenish its energy stores and repair muscle tissue to allow for new growth. In order to do this, you'll need to consume enough carbs to promote substantial insulin release. A protein-packed shake and protein snacks are a great way to rebuild tissue that breaks down during exercise. . . If you're just trying to stay in shape or shed pounds, you can take your time and eat the same amount but within 45 minutes or an hour after your workout. Im currently in the latter because Im looking to trim, and I usually have this same plate all week which is Impossible Meat burger bowl with brown rice, pico de gallo and avocado. This is usually my one meal a day. Sometimes if Im very hungry I add this little lentil soup and instead I share my rice with Cuups! Sharing is caring🐶😍❤️ 🎯Bonus tip: Break your fast with V-Tox and wait an hour or so to eat to prep your body for good digestion. Take your Carb Crusher 30 minutes before your meals.
