Yesterday I was an emotional wreck because I couldn’t believe that I was a nominee finalist for the @aiaawards as Tutorialist Influencer of the Year with so many other amazing creators. I’ve loved makeup for years but I had to put it off for a while due to working full-time and being a full-time mom. I started makeup again two years ago when I became a stay at home mom after my 3rd child. I struggled bad with postpartum depression, it was my everyday battle. My boyfriend @joedominickgarcia knows how much I love makeup that he recommended I do something with it, he pushed me and pushed me even when my postpartum depression was trying to take my life over. Who would've known that I was going to become who I am today on Tiktok, and soon coming to FB. I remember last year watching my favorite influencers who have inspired me for so many years, which now whom I’m great friends with win these amazing awards. I told myself "I’M GOING TO MAKE IT AS AN AIA AWARD FINALIST NEXT YEAR!". You have to set a goal and chase it! Never give up no matter what may come in it's way. Now fast forwarding to 2022 look at where we are at now. All of this would not be possible without all the love and support from all of y'all! Dream big! Use the hate and the people who don’t believe in you as fuel to push you harder to reach the goals in life that you want to accomplish whether it’s being a makeup influencer, cooking videos, starting your own business, anything you want to do or become in life never ever give up! Great things take time. Nothing can interfere what God has placed in front of you. I’m here to tell you in the end that it’s all worth it! Thank you so much for all the love and support.
