White supremacy thrives off of silence. Yesterday while Puerto Rico sat in darkness, the media showered us with images of the queen’s funeral. White supremacy would rather us celebrate colonialism, then pay attention to the harm it’s caused. Keeping silent is not an option. 📢 We’re living in a moment where we must take the risk to be changed. We must confront how racism built this country.
