The Allmendhubelbahn was put into operation in 1912, at first only in winter. It leads from Mürren (1650 m above sea level) with a maximum gradient of 61% up to the Allmendhubel at 1907 m. The old red cars were replaced by new panoramic cars in 1999. ---------------------------------- 2. The Flower Park adventure playground is the perfect place for the little ones. The huge playground takes visitors into the fascinating world of the Alps and lets them discover all kinds of interesting facts about the alpine flora and fauna. For example, children can explore a marmot burrow, fly with butterflies, milk cows and learn about cheese making. ---------------------------------- 3. The Panorama Restaurant Allmendhubel has 80 seats inside and 200 seats on the sun terrace. This is located directly next to the Flower Park adventure playground. While the grown-ups feast and enjoy, the little ones let off steam on the playground.
