My beloved great grandfather who, by coming to LA from Mexico, got the ball rolling for grandkids he didn’t even have yet. Reflecting on his life reminds me of the countless resources I was already born into because of him and I will not take this for granted. I thank and honor him through all my endeavors moving forward, building upon what he’s giving us. I’ll be taking some time away to be with my grandpa as he transitions into this last phase of his life.
