It’s #NationalPetDay, and we would like to take a moment to express our appreciation to a few hardworking four-legged members of our Turf Team! Salsa is a certified Gooesdog trained by Flyaway Geese! Flyaway Geese @flyawaygeese is one of the industry’s leaders in providing professional bird management and Geese solutions. Salsa is always by our Golf Course Superintendent Kevin Bank’s side and enjoys spending her days keeping the geese in check at VGC and her nights at home as a beloved member of the Banks family! Turf Kitty #1 & Turf Kitty #2 are full-time residents of our Turf Maintenance Facility. Despite their appearance as shy and cuddly, these two are fierce hunters and keep the seed for our course free of vermin.
