Over the weekend I had the privilege of playing a part in producing an interactive pop up experience. @adidasnyc x @adidasrunners took over @mrfu_nyc as they honored founder of ‘The Body Project’ @adamrunsnyc for his community leadership as part of there Honoring Black Excellence campaign. . Community leaders & runners from the uptown nyc community and Adidas team members rejoiced to celebrate Adam’s story, his passion and rooted connection to running, advocating for mental health and his 5 year anniversary with Adidas. Commemorated by an exclusive drop and a mural of he and his beloved family. . We ran, we danced, we recovered with a holistic happy hour, we celebrated mental health, being born first/second generation to immigrant parents, trail blazing a path and shed light on the true trend setters at the grass root level. We broke bread with the future generations and all left inspired to plant and water the seeds of our purpose. . #honoringblackexcellence #keeprunning
