Follow @going.zero.waste for more Scraptastic Recipes.⁠ ⁠ I LOVE making homemade vinegars - They’re so easy, delicious and pretty impressive gifts. 😏 You’ll need: - 2 tablespoons of vinegar WITH THE MOTHER - 2 cups of water - 1 cup of strawberry tops - Instructions: 1. Place your strawberry tops in a mason jar. 2. Add your vinegar with the starter and your water. 3. Cover with a cloth and let it sit in the cabinet for a week making sure none of the fruit is exposed. 4. Strain the tops out and recover with a cloth. 5. Let it sit in the cabinet for several more weeks and you’ll have a full jar of vinegar with the mother! The longe it sits with the cloth the more potent it becomes. My favorite way to use this is to make yummmyyy salad dressings!
