The living room in our Cotswolds barn, as featured in October @houseandgardenuk piece by @elizabethjmetcalfe. When we purchased the barn, this room had a tiny single door into the space (I’ve put a ‘before’ pic on Stories). We found these reclaimed barn doors in France and opened up the entry to fit them. They have really helped to create a more airy feel, but still allow us to close off the room and get cosy. The 〰️sofa was a bargain eBay score and then I had ever brilliant @jhaswellupholstery reupholster it in a mix of 3 fabrics. There’s a favourite @howelondon fabric on the back of the sofa, so it gets full viewing as you enter the space through the double doors or climb the stairs. You can’t see it from this angle though.
