This is more than a “Happy Anniversary” post. Yes, it’s our anniversary..but I’m not going to write some bullshit “I’ve loved you since I first laid eyes on you” caption. We know each other long enough now that..that’s true. We’ve been together so long that nothing I say could surprise you. I could say “I love you more now than I’ve ever loved you before”....or.... “you are the epitome of beauty” ....and you would already know that. I could say... the feeling I got when I first saw you walking down the hall in the east wing of Nashua High wearing jeans that had a rip in the butt... I had a feeling we should be together... you would know that. 😂 When you decided to move to NYC to go to grad school to be near me and struggled to find an apartment... and I was a dumb and selfish 21 year old not immediately wanting to live together... and I saw you break down and cry... that..it’s one of my biggest regrets of life...still. Even though we moved in together that next week..I still carry that guilt for those moments you were sad...you would already know that. I could say that I still check out your butt without you knowing...especially when you don’t feel your sexiest that day, but you are..for me... you would already know that. So, with all the things you already know I would say... I want to say a simple...Thank You. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for being a pure and honest person. Thank you for your coldness when needed. Thank you for your warmth when needed. Thank you for always being the one in our relationship with a level head. Thank you for being my biggest fan. Thank you for allowing me to be yours. And most recently Babe, thank you for believing in me enough to sacrifice your soul, your patience, your sleep, your independence, your personal space, and so much more to allow me to spend the last 3 months following my dreams. The sacrifice you give to make our lives better is real and everyone should know. I think about it every single day. You never gave up on me and I’ll never give up on you. Or us. So, for all the things you’ve already heard me say.. it doesn’t matter. The most important one is the one I say the most. I love you. Happy 13 babe.
