The other week I got a chance to spend time with my dad @jschirra in Oregon for Father’s Day and photograph him with his horses Maybelle and Rhett. We packed up some gear & rode up Long Branch Mtn to Eagle Point (I rode Maybelle...she behaved lol has a good trot too 🐴 more pics soon) — I shot both film and digital; it was such a special moment (the pics seen here are film because they just hit different). My dad has always loved animals, especially horses and has a unique connection with them...Over the past couple of years he has renewed his love for them and is so happy, he shines bright. You should see what he’s built for them...I love seeing him like this. A true cowboy at heart 🤠🐴🤍 I’m grateful for simpler times like these. More of that please universe! #35mm #horselove
