WHAT A DAY FOR BOOKS!! Here are THREE I think you should know about. 1) THE CURSE ON SPECTACLE KEY by @chantelacevedo_author is absolutely the kind of gently spooky, fun, full-of-heart MG you want to read this time of year. And there's a Very Good Dog in it named Mary Shelley! COME ON!! 2) I loved KILLERS OF A CERTAIN AGE by @deannaraybourn so much that I picked it from @bookofthemonth this month even though I have an ARC! THAT is how fun this story of a group of 60 year old Lady Assassins who have to One Last Job (to save their own lives) is. Just a blast from start to finish! 3) ANGELIKA FRANKENSTEIN MAKES HER MATCH by @sallythorneauthor is a Historical Gothic RomCom based on Frankenstein, so obviously I will end up with 204 copies or so to hand out to friends/family/randoms on the street because WHOMST does not want to read that??? (And Sally and I will be doing a Fun and Spooky Virtual event in October, so keep an eye out for that!) Go forth and read, friends!!
