First half of may was so special! I was deeply honored to be chosen for the The Jefferson Awards for Public Service and the Ella Baker Award of PJS Department. I also had the opportunity to co-lead a community painted mural for the Latin American Student Org! (Gracias @magnolia_garcia y laso board para la oportunidad 🫶🏽) I am so grateful of the educators who truly saw me, shared with me their wisdom, and believed in me enough to nominate and choose me for these awards. For the communities I’ve gotten to grow and organize with as our liberation is bounded as only together can we create a better tomorrow. Also to my fellow scholars who made this senior year so very special as I added my second major and completed it all in these last two semesters.
