Iris falling under these categories have the genetic tendency to rebloom in the late summer into the early fall months. Remontancy is often dependent on geographic location, climate conditions, and cultural practices. Rebloom may vary from year to year. However, here are some tips to cast the best chance for a second flush of blooms. WATER - Remontant iris will require more frequent watering throughout the summer than the single-season blooming varieties. But be careful not to overwater.
