First @floridabnks event of the season is complete ✅🤗 Super excited to kick off the season with a top 10 finish! Ended up in 7th out of 54 great anglers 👏 The morning started off great, I went straight to my spot, fished the way I like to and had a limit in just over an hour. Worked as hard as possible to maintain that lead throughout the day but needed some bigger bites in the afternoon that I just couldn’t find in the last few hours. Overall, SUPER pleased with the day - I was consistently catching fish, stayed in the right headspace, and fished hard until the last second. I had 3 different variations of a Chatterbait tied on and caught fish on all of them 😂 I switched back and forth depending on depth and lighting conditions but the @zmanfishingproducts Babyjack was a keyyyy contributor and got me the most bites. I had the @tactical_fishing_company MRE as a trailer on one of them and the bass (and pickerel 🙃) couldn’t get enough of it. Super blessed to be a part of such a great group of anglers, and SO proud of how the ladies pulled through in this first event. #BassmastHER All 5 women caught a limit and finished top 20!
