Pre-Mother’s Day PSA#3 Why are you doing these PSA’s and providing advise? It’s not advice - it’s insight. Who says your the expert on parenting ? I could say the experience of seven I wombed, delivered naturally- no drugs and they all survived. But I won’t be malice- Humbly stated: No I am not perfect (I am 98% of the time though) - but I’ll give you what I learned from: The Parenting Episodes of My Life (Don’t steal my book name either). Matter of fact, let me trademark that now. This PSA comes from all the kids that are not biologically mine- The ones that I give the same love to as mine... the extended family/friends/ teammates that became my daughters and sons- That I love and support and wish the same success as I do my own flesh and blood. The ones that have become my flesh and blood. They call me Mom or Ma Dukes, even Mrs. Crystal in a Loving Mom Way. They talk to me via phone, text or in person for hours at a time. I ask them- You not pregnant are you? Or Stay Focused - I am proud of you. Make sure you embrace your children’s friends as your own children. There is no greater blessing than this. When I see these babies as adults and know I had something to do with that mold - My heart melts. I love you all- YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE...
