Today we watched the Earth give way to a new volcanic eruption here in Iceland. It felt like a reunion to be there in the first few hours, both with old friends as well as the sublime, intimidating and overwhelming beauty of nature itself. I found myself sitting for hours watching the lava explode into the blue evening skies and fall as new land on our planet. I wanted to share the feeling of staring deep into the lava from the hillside 🌋 #iceland #eruption #volcano
