I woke up sad and upset about the election result. Italy is a beautiful country inhabited by strange people with the shortest memory after goldfish. As it was for the pandemic times when everyone was cohesive singing shitty songs from balconies applauding and ,when it was possible, they didn't give a shit about rules and practices to be maintained to avoid contagion, they also forgot about the damage done by thirty years of Berlusconism and the embarrassing epilogue it had, or all those rights people have fought for forty years that return at the mercy of peoples whose culture and education is somewhat questionable, or what Right and his personalities has rap presented in our past government, or once again what Facism and war iwas n this country and for our ancestors. This is a government that doesn’t t represent culture, education in all its facets, a vision of the future and wisdom, but only knows commonplaces, arrogance, fears of the different, incompetence and bigotry that but based on these results, many of the Italians are still sensitive (and I ask to myself : do I really feel that Italian?) For the next five years I will behave like children who do not want to take medicine, so I will close my nose and move on hoping it will go less worse than I expect , but the fact remains that for five years the face of this government and this face of Italy voted for it , it’s not mine. Total emptiness
