An old fashioned outdoor adventure 🚗 🏔 The ice fields parkway is one of the top drives in the world(no exaggeration here) 🏔 232 km (144 miles) of winding road through mountains, glaciers, lakes, and wildlife 🏔 Lots of climbing, sticks, leaves, rocks...it’s a toddlers dream 😂 🏔 You should plan to take 8-10 hours+ to complete the drive and see all the sites (we started our drive at 9 AM from Banff and didn’t arrive in Jaspar until 8 PM) 🏔 Download Gypsy, an app that provides you a tour right in your own car! It’s actually a very cool app. It follows your car by GPS which triggers the guide to share info at exactly the right moments along the route and it ensures you don’t miss a thing! 🏔 Be sure to fill up your gas tank in advance, pack snacks/beverages because this drive is as natural as it gets!
