🚨 WE JUST RAISED $26,000,000 🚨 Honestly, I’ve rewritten this post about 1,000 times and I still can’t find the words to express the thoughts swirling around my head right now. This morning, @calaxyapp announced a strategic financing of $26,000,000 💰🤑 and my transition to CEO. Yea... like I said, I’m speechless. 3 years ago, it’s was just @spencerdinwiddie talking about how instrumental crypto was going to be and @bee_dee30 pushing us all to make something of the opportunity that sat in front of us. I can’t even begin to explain the roller coaster ride that has been this journey but through it all, I can’t think my team enough. Huge shoutout to The HBAR Foundation and Animoca Brands for leading the round and my brother @ezekielelliott for being an advisor to the project since early days 🙏🏿 Since inception, black founders have struggled to raise significant capital from angel and venture investors.
