Jaw was continually dropped here - couldn’t get over the vibrant colors, gorgeous historic buildings, cobblestone streets, all surrounded by vibrant green nature + active volcanos in every direction you look 🤩 Antigua Recommendations: Pizza Pacaya hike- on Xmas we did a horseback ride / hike up an active volcano to eat the most delicious pizza (and roasted marshmallows) literally cooked with the heat of the 🌋@pizzapacayadedavid Chocolate making class at @ekchuahantigua - informative & delicious 🍫🍫🍫 @villabokeh for exploring the sprawling, impressive grounds before a special dinner 🪄 Couples massage at @earthlodgeguatemala - insane views - feels like you’re at the top of the world! ☁️ La Tienda de Doña Gavy - the most special natural apothecary / ice cream shop I’ve ever encountered!! 🍦 Doña Maria Gordilla - gorgeous traditional Guatemalan candy shop 🍬 @dmariagordillo @nana.antigua - awesome vintage store + brunch restaurant 🛍️ Rinconcito Antigueño - DELICIOUS rotisserie chicken 🍗 @fincalaazotea - old coffee farm with various activities for kids / food (we ate at El Maizal) + also home of Luna Zorro @luna_zorro - best store in Guatemala for textiles + home goods. Molly leads incredible retreats as well ✨ @caobafarms - incredible for kids to play/ eat/ visit butterfly garden etc 🦋 @artistadecafe - beautiful coffee shop with a great vibe 🎨☕️ @12onzas - cute coffee shop @fat_cat_coffee_house - delicious coffee @nanik_antigua - super delicious + innovative date spot @porquenocafe - such a vibe! Tiny, romantic, perfect date spot. Reserve in advance 🌹 Walk through the most beautiful @starbucks 🤩 @comalote - they make incredible homemade tortillas of every color by the dozen, delicious breakfast!! 🌽 Order Rosa de Jamaica tea everywhere!! 🌺 We stayed in an Airbnb, a few blocks off the Central Park and loved our location ✨ City is super easy to walk, feels very safe and Uber is widely available- don’t rent a car !! 🫶🏼
