I decided to get a personal trainer to help me get wedding “ready.” I’ve always hated the gym. I’ve done Pilates, hot yoga, cycling, everything except weights. But I realized that if I want to be healthy and eventually bounce back after giving birth, I need to start doing the thing I’ve been avoiding for so long. No, I haven’t started liking it yet!! I still hate it every time. But when I’m done, I’m always proud that I showed up for myself. I’m starting slow, only twice a week, but at least I finally started. I know it’s a privilege to have a personal trainer, so I hope that by posting some of my workouts here, you can get a few exercise ideas, learn something, or at least find a bit of inspiration and motivation to join this journey with me.
