Looking back on 2020, I feel that the only thing I can say for certain is it’s been an absolute rollercoaster of a year. Like many others, I had big plans for the year, things were moving... and then came March. I quickly learned that a global pandemic can put a pretty big damper on said plans, completely change our way of life - challenge one’s ambition, purpose, and mental well-being. However- I’ve also really come to appreciate the opportunity it’s provided to slow down, entertain new perspectives, engage in deeper introspective thought, realize what’s important, start making changes, and ultimately grow as a person. I’m truly grateful for the amazing people around me, for the time I’ve had to connect with friends and family, for experiencing new love, for my health, and for the new opportunities that have presented themselves. Cheers to remembering the countless hours of Warzone with the boys, the lysol cleansing of Instacart groceries, the live-streams filmed, the new recipes attempted, the mass protests and re-ignition of the civil rights movement, and cheers to surviving the covid, and to brighter days in 2021 🥂 #happynewyear 📷 @joeyvitalari
