ELDERFLOWER CORDIAL 🍹 This floral cordial is our OO version of St. Germain, made with elderflowers, honey and vodka. Elderflower is packed with benefits including clearing your sinuses, helping with cold symptoms and even to increase sweating (as a diaphoretic). The sweet, floral taste of this cordial makes it perfect on its own, or with sparkling water and fresh lemon! Ingredients: 🌼 Dried elderflowers 🌼 Organic vodka, at least 40% alc 🌼 Honey 🌼 Filtered water 🌼 Peel of one lemon Directions: • Warm ~1⁄4 to 1⁄2 c of honey in about a cup of filtered water, once mixed set aside to let it cool down • Add one part elderflower to a glass jar • Submerge dried flowers in vodka • Add the cool mixture of honey + water to the jar, as much as you’d like – you can always save the rest as a simple syrup sweetener or add more to the cordial when it’s ready to strain if you prefer it sweeter. • Add the peels of one lemon to the top of the cordial, covering as much surface area as possible • Close with an airtight lid, label and let sit in a cool, dark place for 2-4 weeks then strain!
