RIP My friend Maurizzio Hector Piñeda! Here is a picture of the last time I saw him at the Vincent Price Museum with Eamon and Darren. He was such a sweet guy always supporting artists, his tenor at Mission Cultural Center in San Francisco is legendary and the show he curated and believe was the last living show with Carlos Villa was phenomenal! I was lucky enough to work with him on our show with Tijuana and Mexico City artists that travel to Gothenburg, Sweden. I remember one night in San Francisco, I gently pulled into a taxi cab and he jumped out of the car and offered the taxi driver $200 in cash to make it go away, he was that kind of guy that always had your back! He will be missed, rest in Poder Hermano!
