This year, our culinary incubator and creative coffeehouse at @RetreatCurrencyExchange has been teeming with the magic of our community. Thank you to all who have joined us for a full year of events and gatherings that have centered on sonic practice and experimentation, culinary acumen, creative entrepreneurship and fellowship. We hope that you will join us for our special "Holiday Hour" at Retreat as we toast to you and celebrate the season! This annual holiday festivity will feature a live performance of a soulful, jazz-filled, and psychedelic Zay-Ra Experience by multi-instrumentalist Isaiah Collier - Chicago-based writer, saxophonist, educator, arranger, and composer - and a special R&B holiday set by multidisciplinary DJ and cultural archivist Twelve Gage. Santa hats and ugly sweaters are welcome (and encouraged!) in our celebration of the holiday spirit!
