🎉 The Hithe has won the Best Design EMEA category in the @FastCompany Innovation by Design Awards! Fast Company loved The Hithe’s “flat-pack architecture”. This community and small business hub was designed as a temporary use for a site owned by @southwarkcouncil. At the end of its life on this site it’s designed to be taken apart, moved to another site and reused to serve a new community. The Hithe is a workspace for the #circulareconomy. The Hithe opened in November 2021 and is now completely full with a range of tenants from architects and artists to a theatre company. Our Director and Co-Founder, @stoneybryans met our project partner @meanwhile_space on site to show us the building and how it has been brought to life for the community.
