There is much more to what’s been happening with antisemitism, than just A man who’s having a full on, public, mental episode. So in light of all that’s been happening, I wanna talk about the Jewish experience as lived by us recently. It’s very clear by now that antisemitism which is anti-Jewish racism is back. Jews are under attack from all directions whether physical or verbal. Let’s break down these recent verbal attacks. So much Jewish hate is spread out right now, and so many antisemitic tropes are thrown around, but I wanna focus on just one of them which keeps coming up. That is of Jewish control specifically Jewish control of Hollywood. This lie about secret Jewish control, or what it really means, “these jews have too much power we should take it away from them” Brings out an excruciating amount of generational trauma for us. Historically, this exact trope, caused bloodshed. And this is why the Jewish community is freaked out. This is why we can’t say “oh he’s just cray”. Because we’ve heard these words before and we know where they can lead. So we’ve seen this before SO many times, but this time around, we’re not backing down.
