So for the first time in many years the apple tree in our garden which normally gives us one solitary apple per year has finally blessed us with a bumper crop. @balveniegem has been busy making pies and sauces while the little guy is developing a taste for the humble pomme! I put this bountiful harvest down to the great experiences I had last year in Somerset at the Burrow Hill Orchard, pictured here, yes complete with lock down long hair and a wee dram of Somerset Pomona!
