Well.... We just might have completed the film production experience of a lifetime. Shooting on and around the streets of Goma and the villages of east Congo was one of the most challenging, aggressive and frankly hair-raising journeys any of us has ever embarked upon. Working with local community leaders, negotiating with militant groups and religious bodies, managing hundreds of homeless street kids, and collaborating with some truly extraordinary citizens to tell this story was both exhausting and exhilarating. I have not had more guns pulled on me with such regularity but we also found ourselves embraced by people that I would not typically think would be supportive of such an endeavor. not sure I’d do it again... but- Truly Unforgettable Experience.
