“Something Wonderful” in @gottasingkgnyc at @thegreenroom42 🎹 @kenneth_gartman 🎥 @famousinny I first heard this song during my first *paid acting gig*… I must have heard @ellaroseray sing this song beautifully about 100 times that summer. But 19 year old me didn’t actually get it. Lots of life has happened and POV has shifted and I was able to approach this song in a new light. To me- this is a story about the struggle and pitfalls of holding out hope for a partner when you see their greatest potential, but they never quite can live up to it. Maybe you’ve fallen for something that doesn’t really exist in reality. What do you do with that?
