Come back to school shopping with Valentina and me. After parking in the @qcarwash1 valet we headed straight to @shopmatalan & stocked up on hair bobbles & scrunchies as well as affordable shirts & socks. They also had some really great Harry Potter stationary packs which most 5-10 year olds will love! (That’s a tip if you’re an aunt or uncle seeking big brownie points!) Next up was @Argos, and the on screen search facility allows kids to get involved in choosing bags, stationery or electronics. Speaking of bags, we found our dream one in @TenFoundations - they have literally hundreds to choose from, plus buying here helps support the charity too. Our next stop was @bargainbooks where we found another brilliant selection of stationary but we also loved the arts and crafts section. Perfect if your little one’s fave subject is art. For the older kids there are files and file blocks and for the teeny tinies there are reward charts plus extra reading, phonics and maths materials as well as a lovely little mindfulness book which could work wonders if your child is nervous or anxious about school. And from head - to toes! Next we visited @Schuh for, well, shoes! The choice is massive and you really only have to decide if you’re a Mary Jane or a brogue kinda girl. Lots of styles are unisex, and loads of choice in both soft & hard soles for boys too. Next up was @ONeilsSportswear, because, well, we love PE in our family. There’s a brilliant range of sports gear for soccer, rugby and Gaelic games and they also have brilliant two for one offers on trainers for little ones. Perfect if you have a bigger brood than me. Our last stop was in @Poundland where we picked up some kids’ vitamins & plasters as well as some multipack crisps for school lunches We refuelled at @KFC before heading home. A successful day all round! #BackToSchool
