Paris-based collective QuinzeQuinze’s self-described “climatic” songs are inspired, in part, by the Tahitian heritage of two members of the group. You’ll hear elements of ancestral ōrero, Polynesian oratory art, and the percussive sounds of to'ere and steel drum in their work, alongside slippery electronics and Caribbean influences including candombe and calypso.
