When I’m checking my email I’m not in a curious or creative headspace. I end up feeling guilty for not reading the things my favorite writers generously put into the world. My life hack (maybe its an ADHD hack) is to print them out, set myself up with a cute beverage and an activity tray- and read in a way that feels like it really honors to content of the writing. 📚 my morning routine is one of the most important ways I care for my mental health - the hours I spend away from screens fuels my own writing and creativity as an art therapist.
