There are many barriers of entry for those who are interested in trying rock climbing for the first time. Together with @shemovesmountains, we are working to break down those barriers by empowering, educating, and welcoming women (cis, trans) into a diverse climbing community where they belong. In May 2022, I hosted my first @SMM climbing clinic in Smith Rock State Park. The clinic focused on uplifting the participants, helping them achieve their personal climbing goals and in just two hours, the event had sold out.
