Over the past year I’ve been struggling more than ever with my mental health. As someone who has always suffered from depression, the first thing I do when feeling this way is allow myself to sit in the feelings - the emptiness, the confusion, the rage, the loneliness...etc. One cold gloomy day in London I felt as if my life was over. Little did I know it was just beginning. I met @mrhudson - an idol of mine - at a vegan cafe and he just let me rant. I was in a space of pure shock and confusion like “A Deer in Headlights” but he saw something different. He saw the opportunity to help guide me in my healing. He knew I had a story to tell and he wanted to help me tell it. From that day a brotherhood formed. We sat in the studio for months sharing stories about life, love, and loss. Many tears were shed during these sessions. Many songs were written. And one of my heros became my best friend & therapist. Today, our first project is OUT! I’m so excited for y’all to hear these songs and be apart of this new journey of true self love and expression. We are here together for a reason. These songs have helped me heal in so many ways, and I hope they do the same for you along your journey.
